Nominees for the 2004 International 3D Awards in the Architectural categories have been announced. The winner of the 2004 3d Award in the Architecture visualization animation category for outstanding use of 3D in an animated architectural visualization project and in the Architecture visualization still category for outstanding use of 3D in a still architecture visualization project will each receive a Digital Hero Trophy at the CGarchitect.com/ ArchVision Event at SIGGRAPH 2004 in Los Angeles on August 10, 2004.

"The International 3D Awards honors the achievements of companies and individuals in the 3D computer graphic arts industry. The International 3D Awards covers the entire spectrum of the 3D industry from animation and digital effects to gaming, architectural visualization and independent productions."

Kim Baumann Larsen of PLACEBO EFFECTS was a member of this years jury along with Alex Morris of Hayes Davidson in London, and New Yorkers Arnold Gallardo, Matthew Bannister of dbox, Joseph Kosinski of KDLAB and Ernest Burden III of Acme Digital.
