Spain did a clean sweep in the 2004 International 3D Awards in the Architectural categories. Carlos Martin Peña of Neosmedia won the still category and Luis Rivero of Urban Simulations won the animation category.

The winners were announced and each awarded the Digital Hero trophy at the CGArchitect/Archivision and 3D Awards party at the fashionable Palm restaurant in Los Angeles on August 10th.

"The International 3D Awards honors the achievements of companies and individuals in the 3D computer graphic arts industry. The International 3D Awards covers the entire spectrum of the 3D industry from animation and digital effects to gaming, architectural visualization and independent productions."

Kim Baumann Larsen of PLACEBO EFFECTS was a member of this years jury along with Alex Morris of Hayes Davidson in London, and New Yorkers Arnold Gallardo, Matthew Bannister of dbox, Joseph Kosinski of KDLAB and Ernest Burden III of Acme Digital.
