| China Business Handbook 2006 for Innovation Norway
PLACEBO EFFECTS have just completed the design for the special edition cover of "China Business Handbook" for Innovation Norway and the Norwegian Energy & Environment Consortium in Beijing.

Earlier this year we created the visual identity for Norwegian Energy and Environment Consortium - NEEC. NEEC was instigated by Innovation Norway and it's vision is to promote a sustainable future for the Chinese and world community by facilitating the combined Norwegian energy and environmental competence towards practical commercial projects and applications in the Chinese market.
PLACEBO EFFECTS was asked by Innovation Norway to come up with the book cover and advertisment for a limited edition print of the 2007 edition of "China Business Handbook".
The China Business Handbook is designed to provide executives operating in or trading with China, with practical knowledge and business and economic facts. Innovation Norway and Norwegian Energy & Environment Consortium wanted a book cover for the limited edition print that built on the established design profile for NEEC. The design also had to take into consideration the design manual of Innovation Norway. In addition to the book cover we also created the design and text for a half page advertisment for IN and NEEC that was included in both the regular and special edition of the book.
