The moving image production company PopMedia and PLACEBO EFFECTS have signed an agreement to collaborate on job aquisitions and projects. This will also give both companies additional computational resources and a base away from home in Fredrikstad for PLACEBO EFFECTS and in Oslo for PopMedia.

PopMedia and PLACEBO EFFECTS first collaborative project was the Nordsjö CG commercial for television, and current projects include music videos, corporate presentations and DVD presentations of architectural visualisations.

PopMedia focus on TV commercials and DVD production (Music videos). They work with most of the major Scandinavian TV networks such as NRK, SVT, TV2, TV3, ZTV, and has produced commericals for Zwart Arbeid and Motionblur, Kritthuset and Capa as well as projects for Hyperlinkto. Among the many Scandinavian artists they have worked with are Cato Salsa Experience, Wig Wam, Bo Kaspers orkester, Ugress, Equizes, Tungtvann, Petter and Marcus to name but a few.

PLACEBO EFFECTS will thus be expanding its geographical presence to Fredrikstad in PopMedias locales at the booming Fredrikstad Media Park (Medieparken) office hotel. Located at FMV (former Fredrikstad naval yard), Medieparken is an effort to attract resources within the field of multimedia - production, education and events. Fredrikstad Media Park offers studio facilities and funding of international productions.
