From March 18-20 ProWein, the world’s leading trade fair for wine and spirits, was held at Messe Dusseldorf along the Rhine River in Germany. Great Wall Wine made its debut at ProWein as an outstanding representative of made-in-China wines, displaying the premium quality of oriental wine production to the world.
In line with its strategy of developing “national red wine with Great Wall branding”, Great Wall wine is steeped in natural conditions and social customs of its productions regions and immersed in wine-making techniques, thus enjoying the reputation of “always being served at every major event in China” in domestic wine industry. At this trade fair, Great Wall wine showcased over ten types of premium products from its four major production regions (Shacheng, Heibei; Lichang, Hebei; Penglai, Shandong; eastern foot of Helan Mountains, Ningxia) and received a high level of attention from overseas and domestic visitors. Many wine dealers, restaurant owners, and connoisseurs who stopped to either browse product information or sample the wine spoke highly of Great Wall wine.
Founded in 1994, Prowein is held once per year as one of the biggest international and professional trade fair for wines and spirits, providing a platform for visitors from retail, wholesale, international trade, foodstuff, hotel and production and manufacturing sectors.
