Placebo Effects was asked to design a backdrop for the “Seminar on Energy Management and Efficiency, Climate Challenges and its related technologies” Beijing. March 26-27th in Beijing, and March 29-30th in Qingdao

The backdrop was 5x3 meters and functioned as a neutral graphic background troughout the seminar. A typeface was custom made for the project - a clean sans serif with a modern look.
The colour scheme seek to evoke a harmonious, calm and formal setting, as well as reflects the theme and focus of the seminar - climate and energy
A series of nametags with a similar design was also made for the event.

About the Seminar on Energy Management and Efficiency, Climate Challenges and its related technologies
The seminar was planned in collaboration between the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise NHO, China Enterprise Confederation CEC, Norwegian Energy and Environmental Consortium neec, Innovation Norway and the Royal Norwegian Embassy, Beijing, with financial support from The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation NORAD.

The seminar was part the official visit to China in March by the Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg and an accompanying delegation including among others the Minister of Trade and Industry Mr Dag Terje Andersen and the Minister of Finance Ms Kristin Halvorsen. A Key Note Opening address was given by Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg for the plenary opening session. More on the seminar.
