Akershus University Hospital (Ahus) is a Norwegian Health Authority owned by the Norwegian state through the Eastern Regional Health Authority – Helse Øst (Health East). The Hospital has 4000 employees.

Virtual mock-ups for the new Akershus University Hospital were created as a collaborative project between the architect, the interior architect and PLACEBO EFFECTS. The four types of rooms were the Laboratory (LAB), the Operation Room (OR), the Radiology Examination room and the one-bed Patient room.
