PLACEBO EFFECTS helped the City of Oslo illustrate the plans for the upgrading of the city center for the 100year Anniversary of the Norwegian independence from Sweden in 2005. Both a colored plan and a simple volumetric 3d model where created to explain to the public and decision makers which areas, roads and parks that were to be upgarded and improved.

In addition a realistic 3d model of the new Karl Johan - Oslos main street - was photomatched. The main features of the new street is an improved curved road profile as well as a stone clad road and pavement surface to replace the old asphalt one.
